Just like the New Millennium, the New Century will in essence unfold a wholly different economic paradigm than the previous one. Economic globalization is transforming the world into a “Single Open Market” The Korean Standards Association (KSA) is a special corporation established in 1962 under the Industrial Standards Act and it focuses on industrial education, R&D, KS·ISO certification, publication/practice of local & international standards in relation to industrial standardization and quality management. Over the years, KSA has provided professional education to 1 million people, field supervision to about 5,000 corporations. It has also established unparalleled reputation as an institution specializing in national standardization/quality by building a unique cooperation system with overseas quality/standardization related organizations such as resources sharing and exchange of management techniques.
