Korean Industrial Standards (KS) is a national standard, which is deliberated by Industrial Standard Deliberate Council under the Industrial Standardization Act and notified by the administrator of Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS), and is abbreviated as ˇ°KS.ˇ±. KS consists of 16 categories from General (A) to Information Industry (X) and is divided into three(3) parts: |
 Product Standard : Prescribes improvement, dimensions, quality, etc. of product

| Method Standard : Prescribes test, analysis, inspection and measuring method, work standard, etc.

| Communication Standard : Prescribes terminology, technology, units, progression, etc.
